According to the American Water Works Association, an estimated $1 trillion is necessary to maintain and expand service to meet demands over the next 25 years.”

Drought – Colorado River Shortage

Due to the shortage of water on the Colorado River caused by overallocation, prolonged drought, and climate change, the City of Phoenix has declared a Stage 1 Water Alert and activated its Drought Management Plan.

Summary

Water and pressure is supplied by water supply. The check valve prevents water flow from pressure tank(s) to water supply, reserving stored water for use during water service or supply interruptions. The cycle valve cycles stored water, preventing stagnation. An isolation valve is installed before the check valve to isolate stored water if water supply is unsafe.
